Kidd'Izy is a media that offers scientific publications, expert videos, articles published by experts. The site also allows you to find maternity professionals in one click.

Challenges

The website is functioning well as an information medium but not as a plateform for making contact with health profesionnals. The main goal was to improve the interface and the flow of the website so that users can contact profesionnals more efficiently.

How might we improve mothers and future mothers to trust and contact therapists online to provide them support, accompaniment and assistance at this important stage of their lives?

SURVEY RESULTS

Kidd'Izy website is intended for parents and more particularly for women between 31 and 40 years old who whish to become a mother, pregnant

or who are already young mothers.

PERSONA

Nathalie, my persona, thirty-five-years old woman, work as a sales consultant.

Her priority is her baby, find the best solution when he get symptoms

and act for his wellness.  Like many young mothers, she is worried when the baby is ill and have the reflex of looking for answers on the web and find it fast. But very quickly, Nathalie gets lost in too much information which stresses her event more.

She can't find the answers to her questions.

THE ISSUE

A friend advised her to contact a health professisonal but Nathalie has doubts about their skills. She just doesn't trust them.

She needs reassurance to take the plunge. It's still her baby !

That's why I came to this issue :

THE AIM

The aim was to improve the interface and the flow of the website

so that users can contact professionals more efficiently.

I have to create a simple userflow where user can , from baby's symptoms, see their profile and contact them in the esiest small form.

 PROTOTYPING

During the prototyping phase, it was not a question of completely redoing

the Home Page since there was no research done on it.

The Menu had to be revised according to the results of user tests

(notably thanks to Card Sorting).

Then, I designed new pages respecting the user flow and make it simple.

Below is an overview of the High Fidelity prototype.

INTERFACE

 The interface had to be globally faithful to the brand to allow current Kidd'Izy users to find their way around and not get lost on the website.  

So I was inspired by the existing interface while wishing to bring a purer style,

more visual with a touch of modernism

The challenge was to keep some elements of the interface from the existing website

and add others newin order to make it reliable, consistent, simple and attractive.
